Seal inspirits a traditional Hanko.

In Japan, a Hanko stamp is used as a personal signature for important approvals. Seal authorises a digital signature for a mobile transaction, much like a digital Hanko stamp. The proprietary technology uses the physical contact and the wireless connection in tandem to produce a secured digital signature.

A reflection to the historical use of red ink to sign and approve documents, Seal embodied a fluid design to conceptualise the authoritative red medium. The upstanding design has a slim body that flows down to a stable round pad. The interactive features are discreet within the smooth black surface.

Seal was created for Mobiliti.
